This week at Hope 04/25/2022

Yesterday in worship we observed the Second Sunday of Easter and had ANOTHER great celebration of our Lord’s Resurrection. Serious, the atmosphere was electric! We received God’s gifts in Word and Sacrament. We provided mutual encouragement and engaged in meaningful study. We welcomed and rejoiced in young and old, member and visitor alike. Keep offering yourself to the Lord and His work to see how the Good News of life with Jesus gets extended.

All the Ladies of Hope are invited to be part of the Birthday Lunch Bunch. We need to give thanks for the March and April birthdays, so come to Luby’s this Wednesday, April 27, at 11:30am and join the party!

Seniors Active In Life will be gathering this Thursday from 9:30 to Noon in Hope Harbor. The theme is Poetry, so bring a favorite poem to share and delight in the beauty of the creative word.

Reminder to Church Council members—our meeting is scheduled for this Sunday, May 1, right after discipleship classes.

Scripture readings next Sunday—Acts 9:1-22; Revelation 5:1-14; John 21:1-14.
