This week at Hope 4/5/2021

Today is Easter Monday—Celebrate!

Yesterday in worship we observed the Resurrection of Our Lord with Easter Sunday. It was a tremendous time of rejoicing with happy people, a flowering cross, meaningful music,  and the world-changing, life-transforming proclamation that HE IS RISEN. (Oh, and delicious breakfast, too.) May the Holy Spirit lead you to discover and pursue all the ways that you can live the Easter faith in union with our Savior and Lord.

One fresh opportunity begins this Wednesday at 7 pm when Alpha Online launches for a video-based encounter with God’s story of salvation. Call Carl Repp to sign up.

Next Sunday in the adult Discipleship class we will welcome a special guest from the Austin Disaster Relief Network. We will receive helpful information on the scope of the work ADRN does, and we will hear about how Hope can be involved in addition to our Sunday School mission project.

Scripture readings for next Sunday—Acts 4:32-35; 1 John 1:1—2:2; John 20:19-31.

Birthdays—4/8 Tim Stahlke; 4/9 Punkin Olson

Anniversaries—

“This is the Lord, for whom we have waited; let us be glad and rejoice in His salvation!”
